Education.com is seeking a Sr Product Manager to grow our subscriber base and consumer revenue by launching new product initiatives and optimizing our current learning products for kids, parents and teachers.

You are a highly-motivated individual with excellent communication and collaboration skills, are relentlessly user focused and have a passion for building and shipping differentiated products using agile and customer centric development methodologies. You are a business savvy product leader, team player, and mentor who can influence and collaborate with colleagues at all levels. Success in this role will require skill in rolling up your sleeves for tactical execution as well as high-level strategic thinking and active mentorship of other Product Managers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Develop the vision and strategy for Education.com mobile apps, B2B channels and tiered subscription product lines in collaboration with cross-functional partners
  • Build the product value proposition and refine product-market fit through research, concept validation and quantitative testing in production
  • Lead cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to execute on the product strategy
  • Break down projects to MVPs and subsequent iterations that maximize customer value with efficiency and right-sized investment
  • Manage the end-to-end process of conceptualizing and shipping products, acting as the glue between cross-functional departments
  • Define, monitor, and analyze business and usage metrics that inform and measure the success of products
  • Follow our competitors and industry trends, incorporating insights into product strategies
  • Mentor and manage one or more junior Product Managers

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in mobile consumer or saas
  • Experience taking new product ideas from  from inception through launch and iteration
  • Deep agile/lean development experience
  • Quantitative analysis and strong business orientation, e.g. experience with AB testing and developing operational success metrics
  • Excellent consumer intuition
  • Structured and analytical thinking
  • Strong mentoring, communication and facilitation skills
  • Undergraduate degree completion
